Yarn Along...

I have been busy knitting.
It's a wonderful hobby to have because you can do it almost anywhere
and it's a nice companion for those long car rides.

I am still working on my Guernsey Wrap

It is currently 46 inches, almost 4 feet long, I passed the halfway point a while ago!!

"My" Alpaca Farm had Farm Days this past weekend...
we went on Sunday and it was so much fun.
It's not really my farm, it is the farm I visit and the place where I learned to knit,
Arrow Acres Farm

Their yarn was on sale, *score* so I loaded up.
Ya' know.....it's important to support the local peeps.

I purchased 6 skiens in total, all Alpaca Yarn,

I love the farms new labels that give you the name of the Alpaca the yarn came from,
along with a picture!!

More about Farm Days tomorrow!!

I am joining Ginny at Small Things
for
Yarn Along

Hello, Debbie! Your wrap is looking beautiful. I would be so distracted at the alpaca farm, I would not be paying attention in class. The alpacas are so darn cute. Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!

Amazing that they give you the name of the Alpaca that the yarn came from. Your wrap is indeed coming along nicely. I think my husband's driving would distract me from my knitting though!!
My gran taught me to knit very many moons ago. Enjoy your Wednesday :)

The wrap is beautiful. Knitting is a good hobby. I might just go and dig out my knitting needles from the store room to resume my knitting hobby again.

Beautiful... knitting is a great project for trips ... When my kids were little I would knit and watch TV all the time!!!

I truly admire your ability and effort to knit.
I always wanted to knit and tried it when I was a bit younger. Never successful though. In all quite honesty, I believe I was never patient and detail-oriented enough!

beautiful work though!
be blessed!!
