Walk Barefoot with Me...

June 20th, was a cloudy, misty day in Spring Lake.
For me, that equals a perfect beach day.

The hubs too, that's our favorite time to go and listen to the waves crash,

the seagulls caw and just about "nothing" else.

 The beaches are empty, quiet...perfect.

There was a sea glass hunt involved, it's always a contest...
I found this green piece and it was the winner

Bare feet and foam, just seem to go together...

the hubs had to get in on the action.

 A little sand art...

 a little love...

and a quick look back, as we left the beach!

Love it- I imagine visits to the beach are so relaxing when not many others are around.

I love walks with you on the beach. Your pictures are so pretty, I can easily pretend I am there.

I love the beach but I stay away during summer, alot of tourists after Labor day it will quiet down. Alot of shark attacks reported here this year. I know what you mean about the foam on your toes but what I hate is seaweed on my toes, feet, or legs, it's an eerie feeling. Love your beach pictures & that green seaglass that was like finding a treasure I bet.

Looks like a super fun, romantic day. You two know how to spend quality time together. Love your butterfly tat on your foot and the date with heart that your husband carved in the sand.

What a great post. That's a pretty piece of green sea glass, I think it would be fun to search for it. The sand art was so sweet. And I'd sure enjoy a trip to the beach if I had the chance.

Sounds like a great day to me... when we went to North Carolina last year to visit our daughter I picked up a sandwich bag full of sea glass but not sure what I am going to do with it
