Here is my take from The Lancaster Yarn Shop
Pretty yarn and I LOVED this yarn jar...
you put your yarn inside, while you are knitting,
pull it out of the hole on the top,
to prevent your yarn from rolling around on the floor!
On the back of the jar, the definition of yarn & knitting is included.
"yarn...a continous strand of twisted threads of synthetic or
natural material, such as wool or cotton,
used in weaving or knitting".
"knitting...a long often elaborate narrative of real or fictitious adventures".

Two "hanks" of blue, one of gray,
someday I hope to make this Murmuration Shawl with the yarn,
is it not gorgeous?!

Hi Debbie those 2 colours of yarn are gorgeous together and I look forward to seeing the compled shawl someday
Gorgeous. I have yarn bowls but I have never seen a yarn jar, Clever.
Hello Debbie, I love the shades of blue and gray! Lovely! And the jar is cute, a great idea for holding your yarn! The shawl looks pretty. Enjoy your day!
I like the idea of the yarn not rolling out on the floor! The yarn colours are gorgeous!
The yarn is beautiful, and it would make up so nicely into that shawl. I remember your first knitting post, and it's just amazing how far you've taken it already. I can truly see you wrapped up in that shawl before the snow flies again.
Yes! It is gorgeous! And I love the color combo. The jar is so very pretty - and I love the description...words are {almost} as much fun to play with as yarn!!
Oh Debbie, what gorgeous yarn! I am in love with the colors :) And your yarn jar is simply delightful. Hugs!
Are you sure you weren't a photo designer type person in a former life or something like that? You know - the one who stages the merchandise to make it look gORgeous for the photo shoot?
:) m & jb
It is very lovely, I'd like it too.
Debbie is lovely. Everything is intending and doing ;))
Besos.
Isn't that jar clever:) Beautiful yarn, will make up very pretty.
Oh yes, that shawl is beautiful and I can't wait to see the one you make. It will be fabulous.
I love those colors of yarn. That blue is fantastic. I am glad you bought one of those jars. I thought they were nifty. I just use a coffee can with a hole in the lid. The jar would be so much more fun. Have a lovely day.
Love, love, love both the yarn and the shawl. I am jealous.... our local yarn shop has changed owners and the yarn is not of the same quality. I really like to support local business, but I may be headed online. Who is the designer? Blue is my color!!!!
The yarns are so pretty, I just want to touch them.
What wonderful treasures!
Love, love those colors; so beautiful! How nice to have the yarn jar; I haven't seen one before but how handy that must be. :)
xoxo
Those two colors look good together. My mother & grandmother were knitters. I remember them driving out of town to purchase the best yarn. I wish I would of paid more attention when they tried to teach me
how to knit. The jar is a great idea & love that shawl.
Hi Debbie, catching up with you today. The wool and your pictures are absolutely beautiful and I love the idea of a murmuration shawl. Hope all is well with you?
Nice score!
I so failed knitting!
you're addicted. :)
Love the colors of the yarn and the cute jar! Have a greT 4th!
I love the blue and gray colors. Blue is such a favorite color of mine. I loved the Yarn jar; that is such a great idea. I will look forward to when you make that beautiful shawl; you can do it.
I love the joy you find in knitting.
Hugs!
Oh I'd love that jar - it would save my wool from my dog! I am also intrigued by the little objects at the front of your first photo - the shell and round disc; do they have a purpose apart from looking pretty?
I love the first image with the gorgeous yarn matching your hydrangeas!! Looking forward to seeing the finished shawl!
this yarn is going to knit up beautifully!! it is so soft and 50% silk!!!
Great way to keep your yarn clean, I know with my pets the hair sticks to the yarn like a magnet. Lovely project you have in mind for it!
Both the yarn and the shawl are gorgeous.
This blue is amazing!
