Barn Charm #29

Hovre DeGrace, Maryland

There's a long story connected to this barn.
If you follow my blog, you know we recently went to Washington, D. C.
As we were traveling along the highway, I spotted an amazing barn.
This is not it!!
The hubs pulled off the highway and our detour began.
We searched for about 15 minutes for that barn and never found it.
We did however find this one and I thought it was beautiful.
Thanks to our GPS, I knew where we were.
Now if you follow my blog, you also know I love to trespass,
but I was a little unsure in these parts.
So I stayed on my side of the fence and dreamt about being
on the other side!!

Is this an odd shape for a barn?? We don't see this shape in our parts!!
I am so excited to be linking once again to Tricia's Barn Charm

Please follow the link above to view all the amazing, charming barns!!

Awe, it's a pretty one ~ and I love the horse weathervane (I'm starting to get addicted to weathervanes...as in taking pictures of them...) Seems unusual a bit cause it's so symmetrical and angled more like a house ~ maybe they designed it themselves!

Love the old barns and these horses are a great addition to an already lovely photograph.

Always such great barns. We just don't have them around here like that any more. It makes me sad.

That's a great looking barn, Deb. Love the weathervane. We have barns in all shapes and sizes here in MO. I need to get out and snap a few more.
I've been on a bit of a bloggy break, so I'll come back when I have more time and read your other posts I've missed! Have a great day!

I would say Amish/Midwestern in spirit. Glad you didn't get the cuffs slapped on you during this trip. ;)

That is a nice barn. When I first saw it I thought it might be the back of a church.

We've been to Havre de Grace!

That's a gorgeous shot - even if you DID have to take it from the "boring" - I mean, safe, - side of the fence!!

That's a gorgeous barn and a great scene with the horses. But it makes me curious about the barn you couldn't find again.

Not exactly an odd shape to me, however, the fact that it's so clean & well kept is odd for these parts! LoL! Definitely a beautiful barn... you're getting wise not trespassing in unfamiliar territory there, Debbie! Bravo! heheheee

Thanks a million for joining =)

What a gorgeous barn. That paint job make me this $$$$$, and the horses make me think more $$$$$$. Your shot from your side of the fence is a lovely one. It really did capture the moment beautifully. genie
