A gigantic, elaborate gingerbread village with a winter creek theme with snowy mountain scenes,
waterfalls, candy details and a mini train.
Each summer,
the pastry team at Gaylord National begins dreaming up the magic that will become that years
gingerbread masterpiece.
They start with ideas and sketches... that they bake, built and decorate with care.
Nearly 20 Cullinarians, from more than 10 countries, devoted more than 2,000 hours to create
Frosty Creek.
Made with more than 140 pounds of rice crispy treats, over 50 pounds of fondant,
and 100 pounds of royal icing.
The sign do not say how much ginger bread went into the creation.
It is completely edible!
Decorated beautifully, it was amazing to see how many trees were decorated for the holiday'
There were lights everywhere, colored and white at every turn.
Snow Factory
A nightly tree lighting, with snow.
The view from our room at the resort.
We really love this resort!
Today's positive thought...
It may be cold outside, but I am still...
- warm inside, it's always summer in my heart -
