Thanksgiving 2025...In The Books

 Thanksgiving was amazing...
I realize not everyone is as lucky as I am, to have a wonderful friends and family to spend the day with.
I did not always have this...but I have for the last 6 or more years and I am ever so grateful.
My niece, Deanna and her husband Anthony hosted in their home, they host every holiday,
and everyone brings something.
Deanna is one of the kindest people I know...neighbors called her on Thanksgiving morning and said they had nowhere to go and asked if they could come over, of course, she said yes.
The families are good friends, the kids play and cheer together.
I think we had 25 and I loved every minute of it.
Awesome family and friends, great food, amazing desert and we watched a lot of football,
Anthony's team, the Packers won...the KC Chiefs lost but played a great game.

Everything is casual here and super fun!

There was a ham in there...

the turkey was moist and delicious.

Green bean casserole, stuffing, sweet potato casserole and white corn.

Delicious mashed yukon gold potatoes...

more mashed potatoes, sausage stuffing and glazed carrots.

I adore these people...

all of them.

Deanna and Anthony

Sommer on the left, my Lorelei on the right, they are great friends.

Addie, Lorelei and their Gammie
Their Gammie is my husbands sister, Debbie, Deanna's mom...we are great friends.

Addie and Gammie

Justin and Aaliyah
Anthony's sister son and his girlfriend, both great people.
Justin is a big KC Chiefs fan and we really bonded over that.
They were fun to watch the game with.

My pictures today are not as thoughtful as the pictures I usually take.
There was a lot of quick snapping, just to memorialize the day the best I could fun came first.

We brought the deserts...

Donuts

2 Pumpkin Pies

Cookies

Blueberry Crumb Pie
We also brought a Cheesecake, it was the first item to go.

Here is some of the gang, the kids are all missing in action.
I took the picture!

Today's positive thought...

Something I want to achieve this December...

- to spend more time with my nieces, Lorelei and Addelina -
Here they are in 2019, they are growing up too fast.
