Feeling My Mojo

mojo
 - a magic charm, talisman, or spell -
I always thought "mojo" just meant feeling great, having spirit...having good energy or vibes.
Regardless, I am feeling excellent!

I'll share some of the things that help to lift my spirits and keep them there.

Knitting
I am currently knitting the "22 Little Clouds" Shawlette by Martina Behm.
I'm using Cascade 220 yarn - Heather -
100% Peruvian Highland Wool Yarn
All of the girls in my knitting group purchased this yarn for our Rhinebeck knitting project.
We will use this yarn to make whatever we want with it...
and then we will wear what we have made on the same day, cool, right?
Kinda' twining x 14, it will be so fun to all match in our own way.

My Indoor Garden
which is so small but brings me so much joy.
I switched everything around, repotted all of the plants...I just need a pot for my new Basil plant.

I had this beautiful Haworthia Zebra Plant which needed a pretty pot,
and my new pretty pot needed a pretty plant.
I think they go together perfectly.

My one and only Orchid has at least 10 blooms on it.

My Outdoor Garden

The 1st Cucumber I can see...there may be others.
If you have a garden, you know exactly what I am talking about.
There are always a few that hide, until they are huge,
and you can't eat them they are so tough.

Knowing I will have enough tomatoes to feed a small army.
They are coming, fast and furious!
These are Beefsteak Tomatoes

Seeing fresh cut flowers, from my garden, in the house.

- one small positive thought in the morning can change your whole day -

ps...I have not been able to comment or visit many of you,
some kind of a problem connecting to CAPTCHA and the internet.
I have been able to connect to the internet for other things, just not blogger.

Debbie, your outdoor garden looks fabulous! My bell pepper, tomato, and basil are all growing, but so far no evidence of produce. May be too soon... and too hot (109 F today). Basil looks good, but the dill seems to have kicked the bucket. Also all 4 of my 'pillars' are in Chrysalis... which is good because they ate up almost all of my parsley.

I love that color of your wool. I am so glad you got your mojo back. Your inside and outside garden are just amazing. Don't you just love summer gardens. Your flowers are lovely.

Starting my day with gardening always lifts my spirit and I use knitting to calm my mind often. The shawl will be gorgeous, Debbie! Love Cascade yarn. Both your indoor and outdoor gardens are so green and beautiful. The basil is lovely and such healthy tomatoes. I adore hydrangeas. Really love reading this post, thanks so much for sharing!
