Off To The Beach For Valentines Day

Many thanks to those who commented on Friday's post.
For those who mentioned that they enjoy seeing the ocean, here she is in all her beauty and glory.
We visited on Friday...you can "feel" winter at the beach,
the waves were small, almost nonexistent, the blue sky paled against the dark blue of the sea water.
The ocean is so massive...I feel so small.
The air is brisk, it carries an ever so slight breeze and the soft scent of salt.

Howe Street Beach in Bay Head has a secret admirer who always decorates the beach for each holiday.

Happy Valentines Day

There is a new shell creation,
A Crab

in addition to the turtle you can see behind it.

The Dolphin above and the Whale Tale below have been here for a long time.

Mr. Crab

- dear ocean, thank you for making me feel tiny, humble, inspired and salty all at once -

My favorite was the turtle but they are all great. Happy Valentine's Day to you and yours.

Someone takes the time to decorate. Love the work but it pales in comparison to that blue of sea and sky. Love that shot of the grasses!

Those decorations on the sand are wonderful.
The ocean is majestic and immense. It is relaxing to watch it and listen to the sound of the tides.
When I listen to Bryan Ferry singing "Song to the Siren" my mind flies over the ocean!

Oh, Debbie, you took me back to those wonderful days we spent in Hawaii walking on the lava beaches and hearing the roar of the ocean waves. It all smelled so clean and fresh. Happy Valentine's!

The beach just looks cold in the winter doesn't it. I love all the little sayings on the shells and they did a fantastic job with the animals they made too, so neat that is something you can go and see what they did for this year :)

The way you describe being at the beach has me wanting to experience being there again, beautifully written and your photos are a delight! The secret admirer must bring a lot of happiness with his happy shell sculptures, as does your post I quickly add. Thank you and Happy Valentine's Day!

Beautiful and uncrowded! The shell art is really nice! I'm glad people don't mess with it.

That is some serious talent with the shell formations. I wonder how many hours it took the artist to place them. Beautiful ocean pictures too.
