Our local arts theater, The Algonquin, presented a musical interpretation of
Elf
following the story line from the movie.
It was excellent...
the costumes, the sets and props were all amazing.
The actors and actresses all had beautiful, broadway quality voices.
No photographs were allowed during the performance,
but I have a few reminders of this special afternoon.

I am so happy to see you out and about and standing there posing!!
Elf! That reminds me - when the kids were here on Saturday to tour our Christmas House, one of them asked me, "Do you have any elves??" And no, I do not. That's funny. I guess I am not especially drawn to elves.....at least not Christmas ones. I do love the St. Patrick's elves.....or are they leprechauns? And are they the same thing?
How fun and it is neat that you got good pictures to remember the beautiful afternoon -- I am going to think about that next time we get to go to a play or musical theater event . When they say "no photos" I usually just think 'well, I won't be able to blog anything about this..." but you knew how to do it! Lovely to see you out enjoying yourself and looking good!!!
Oh, I think seeing a stage play of Elf would be the best. I'm happy you got those fun photos with the cast. I do love musicals.
I'm happy you get to have these experiences.
Blessings and hugs!
