Here's a little tour of the house when it is decorated for Christmas.
It looks about the same every year, I use the same decorations and I don't move things around much.
If you have seen pictures of the house before, you can exit now, it's all about the same as last year.
First up, the Family Room

So pretty, .Debbie. A festive piece of heaven
Your home is Picture Perfect❤️
Beautiful home ❤️. Merry Christmas 🎄
Hello Debbie,
Your home looks lovely, beautifully decorated for Christmas! Take care, enjoy your day and week ahead.
Beautiful 🎄!
Thank you for the tour! I didn't decorate at all, since my son does at his house and I was working the holiday.
Your winking Santa that you've had since your boys were little: don't dare get rid of it. They know it's always there, but if it wasn't: they would FREAK! Play a game that we did with my parents' six grandchildren: after they had died, and we were sorting their belongings, following along with their pre-determined list of "bequeathed" items to different kids and grandkids, we asked each now-grown grandkid to write down some item that reminded them of their Granny Lou and some item that reminded them of their Grandpa. The results were very interesting and charming. Most items were the inexpensive stuff. It helped us get items to the kids that really had an attachment to them. (Praise the Lord, beyond the sacred "bequeathed" list!) So, your Santa winking at you is more precious then you realize!
I LOVE your curtains that have short rods. Whoever said they had to be long? Linda in Kansas
Your home looks beautiful Debbie, and yes, I too like those two snowmen, so cute :)
All the best Jan
I adore every little corner of your lovely Christmas time decorations, so peaceful and bright and cheery, just as this time of year offers! Merry Christmas to you and all of your loved ones.
Debbie, your home could be in a Christmas home decor magazine. It's truly beautiful. But you know what I love the most... the garden trugs I can see through your windows. I want those... and hope to order some before next spring.
You've got a beautiful home Debbie. And I think you're a very organized decorator!
your welcome linda...there is more but it gets to be a lot of pictures!! i was not going to decorate this year but the hubs really helped/did most of it so i was happy we did it!! that is a great way to split up special items for children and grandchildren...there are several items i know my youngest would take and one is the winking santa!!
the drapes were my idea...like valences but on the side. i like them but they get so dusty, sometimes i feel like taking them down and just going with the blinds that are there, most were open in the pictures!!
All so pretty and my favorite is the wreath with matching candle holders....gorgeous.
Hello Debbie, Hope you had a lovely Christmas and the New Year brings you joy.
I'm back, before the year finishes, and I feel so blessed. There are so many pretty Christmas decorations I like, but I do like your wreath of gold, bronze, and silver balls. It is quite the nicest I have seen, and I love the gold stocking too. Your red teapot and bowl look very festive, and I would like to take them home with me!:=)
Your decorations are lovely. You have a talent of creativity. I really love the colors. It is hard to give up those sweet decorations from your children's childhood.
Loved this post, hugs!
Your Christmas decorations are gorgeous Debbie!
Beautiful, I usually do the same thing too but because of our little kitten things had to be changed up as not to have some things broken.
I love how you display your cards and those snowmen are my favorites too :)
Beautiful home as always! Your decorations are fantastic!
