Life - In Slow Motion...

The pace is pretty slow around here...

the Bucket List looks about the same.
Even though I put very little on the list as compared to previous summers,
between the heat and things being closed,
it is hard to cross anything off the list.

Life is not so bad in slow motion,
I have accomplished so much around the house,
I have enjoyed knitting,
and I have really enjoyed the down time in the pool.

I washed and blocked the
Irish Hiking Scarf
It blocked up nicely and does not have any curl to it now.
I must say I love it more now that it is done...
I think I will keep it but it may also be a Christmas present!

Many of the dill flowers on my dill plants have turned to seed,

a lot of seed that I will keep and plant next year.

I have been able to put some
"Beautiful Moments"
in the jar!
It sits on the kitchen counter so I don't forget about it.
So I am sure to remember those little moments,
those small special ones.

This garden full of flowers around the backyard deck is doing very well.
It is full to the brim and very colorful!

I always like how they look as they peek through the deck!

Another couple of days in the book, life in slow motion, not so bad, right?

You have done well through the pandemic Debbie. And stayed healthy which is most important. The list can wait for better times.

Your flowers are so pretty. As a flower deprived person right now I really enjoy seeing them. Lovely dill. I do love growing dill, I love the smell so much. I think even though life is a bit slower right now. I think in its own way, it has beauty too. In this new neighborhood. The street over has so many kids, and the other night we were out and it made my heart happy to see all of the kids being kids, playing in the street, riding bikes. For me that was wonderful. Your pool is so lovely. I also really like your scarf. Have a wonderful day.

I agree, I appreciate those slow days more and more I think :) That's great that you really like the scarf now that it is all done.
Your dill looks cool when it goes to seed, I don't know that I have ever seen it like that before, that is great that you have that many seeds for next year!
Your flowers are gorgeous peeking through the rails of the fence, bet you just smile when you look around at all that beauty!

I would say a lovely life in slow motion. I have always loved your bucket list. I'd love to mark of the Drive in Movie; that is a possibility for me. Your Irish Hiking Scarf is beautiful. You really do have a magnificent knitting talent. I really love your Beautiful Moments jar; that is a fantastic idea. Your flowers really are spectacular.
Sending loving thoughts and hugs!

I think we always live life in slow motion, especially when we’re home in Oregon ... so honestly things aren’t that different day to day. It’s weird when we see family and have to be careful with distancing, because who does that normally? But at least we get to see them and lots of people don’t (and in our age range especially , for many it is even worse). We count our blessings.
