Watching each board being nailed to the outer frame, seeing the roof go on
and the siding go up...
At times this can seem like a job, to many it would seem like work,
but this project is more like a hobby or a "Labor of Love"!
This is the seventh building the hubs built on this property, it will be the last.
Seven acres, these are all pole barns, this is the last building he has approvals from the town for!
You can read a little more about Pole Barns here.
And the company that constructs them for us, New Frontier Builders here.
He tells everyone we are retired but that could not be further from the truth.
He has built so many other buildings, they will all still be here long after we are gone.
Our legacy I guess...he started before he turned 20 and I was mesmerized with his ambition and talent.

Hello,
Your hubby likes to keep busy, will he ever retire? The building looks nice. Take care and stay safe! Enjoy your day, have a great weekend.
Your husband will miss this part I imagine. Who knows...
I had to look up pole barns as have not heard of that before. Very interesting and this one is amazing.
That is one cool building. I know how much Ron loved building our house and even the whole process of selling and buying a house, he would love to do stuff like that too. I love seeing the progress. Good for Chuck!
The building looks fantastic.
All the best Jan
Building... contracting is not for the faint of heart. It looks fabulous! Have the best weekend and stay safe!
That looks very ambitious .
Wow, the building is coming right a long. I loved learning a little bit more about what your hubby does. I find him talented in many areas and then there is you. You are multitalented too. I enjoyed the pictures today.
Sending you love and hugs!
that is interesting how they do the overhangs for the doors before having the walls all up, neat design to have those. It is hard for some people to retire, maybe he will always find something to do.
It's looking really good! You don't accomplish much in life just sitting on your tail end.
