This past Tuesday, we went to Great Adventure to drive through the Safari.
We took our time,
drove extra slow, took lots of pictures and made sure we did not miss any of the animals.
The elephants, giraffe and elk were some of my favorites.

I used to take my family on a drive through at the African Lion Safari. Never a dull moment.

Zoos are really great, and they have been in financial trouble because of being closed. So it’s gratifyiing to see that you could enjoy this one.

Such gorgeous creatures. I saw a photo recently of two men standing beside a young elephant they had shot. Such a sad photo!
Wow you got some great close ups didn't you, that is nice to be able to drive through especially if it is a hot day, I know I have walked through the zoo a few times that it just got way too hot. Love how you got how furry the antlers are on the elk, very cool!

LOVE THESE PICTURES!! You like giraffes too? I have loved them all my life. I used to work with them. they are amazing. I see at least three juveniles there, maybe??----so sweet when they are little!! I could watch them all day. Happy saturday---hope your weather is good and y'all are out on an adventure!!

It was so hot when we were there that we only saw 3 giraffes because they were off in the distance in the shade. We are going back when it is cooler.

we saw a lot ruth, there was even a newborn, off to the side, isolated with its mother. it wasn't too hot when we went!!
Wow, I do love the photos you took of the Elephants, Giraffes and Elk. They are spectacular. I think this is an awesome drive through the park.
