We Got Snow!!

It came down in big, fluffy flakes,
 it was so beautiful...
I was so happy to be home, to sit by the window and watch.
It doesn't look like much, it didn't amount to very much, but it sure was pretty coming down.

The snow inspired me to break out the snowman....

These candlesticks are on either side of the television.
I always put the large snowflake ornaments in them,
and surround them with snowmen.

We had this yummy dinner from Home Chef...

Chicken Breast with Pecan Crema
with honey roasted Brussel Sprouts - I added Rice and it was the perfect meal.
The sauce was delicious!

We are off to Washington, D.C. today,
staying at Gaylord National to see their one of a kind ICE display.
I can't wait to see the Grinch and the National Christmas Tree!

Debbie - we have very little snow here in Montana, so I am living vicariously with the many snow posts this week from all over North America. Sure puts me in the mood for the holidays! Your snowmen are adorable, especially the one holding "joy" in its arms. Enjoy your trip!

I can just imagine your joy as you sit by the window looking out at your wintry wonderland. It must be so pretty to see snowflakes falling, blanketing the earth. How pretty the trees look with their cloaks of snow. Enjoy your little holiday in Washington DC.
