Saturday Critters ~ 217 ~

Some of my small birds have returned to the feeders.
Their feeding patterns have changed and they stay more protected in the evergreens.
Not everyone has come back,
I am not seeing any Cardinals, Nuthatches, Warblers, Juncos or Wrens.

You have beautiful birds in your neck of the woods, Debbie. I particularly love the little Titmouse.

Hi Debbie, I am glad your birds are returning. I am sure they were spooked off by some kind of hawk or raptor. Your bird photos are always so beautiful, I love them all. Thanks so much for linking up your post and for all your visits and comments. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

It is so nice to see them returning to you, Debbie.
Nothing here, yet, unfortunately. We had a major snowstorm this past Wednesday, so I am kind of glad they had not returned yet.
I love the little Titmouse. So adorable!

Debbie, your bird photos are wonderful! We don't have Morning Doves where I live. They're so pretty I wish we did.

Gorgeous shoots, I do like when you tell us the names, I have no idea on half that come to mine, I just enjoy watching them. We have had one beautiful cardinal that has been visiting the suet I put out just outside our window, he has such perfect coloring.

Your close up shots are so enjoyable. The detail on the feathers - I could look at it for hours. My favorites are the male house finch and downy woodpecker. Thanks for sharing!

Love that first picture, think it's the male house finch?---handsome bird and great picture! I'm sorry so many of your birds have not returned yet, I wouldn't give up hope, they might still come back! The ones that are missing, were they ones that regularly stay year-round, or did they come and go before the hawk came?

Hello Debbie!:) Delightful bird captures, with beautiful background. No favourites this week, they are all adorable. Perhaps some of your regular visitors are still spooked by the recent appearance of the Hawk, but they will return eventually.

Aren't they sweet?! We're still cold and buried in snow!

I'm guessing the hawk finally flew away? Hopefully? I'm glad your birds are returning - they're so fun to watch and you got some great shots!

I am so glad your birds -- or most of them anyway -- came back! Sometimes I can't believe how beautiful your pictures are. I have an Audubon bird book that has photos and yours are better than anything in it. Really. Maybe yhour birds that haven't come back to your feeders have migrated for the winter and are in Florida where it is quite warm right now!

Cute birds have beautifully captured in the pictures. Regards.

I’m learning to identify the birds thanks to you! I filled all our feeders the other day before the cold weather hit again. Now on Thursday we are expecting upper 70’s. I wonder if our birds get confused??

Such lovely photos of these birds. There colors are so pretty. I find it so interesting that the male House Finch has the more brilliant colors. I have always loved the mourning doves; so sweet. I do hope your other friends come back.
Blessings and hugs!
