"Just let me finish this row"...
If you are a knitter, you understand that.
If you are a knitter, you understand that.
You say it all the time and your family gets it.
Another question is, "are you counting".
My husband knows that no response from me = "yes, I'm counting".
I'm not always counting when I don't respond,
but don't tell the hubs
* wink *
Sometimes you just need quiet.

I am still working on my Guernsey Wrap...
I am thrilled with the way it looks,
it is now 46 inches long and I am into my 3rd ball of yarn.
I also finished my Feathered Cloche Hat
from my "knits of a feather" book.
It's washed and blocked and the brim does not curl, YaY!!
I decided to keep the feather...
I think it makes the hat prettier and unique.

My dear mum was an avid knitter so I can quite understand 'are you counting'.
I love your wrap, it's coming along well.
Also the feather on your hat does work well.
...one final comment - those blooms look great, delicate shades.
Have a good Wednesday
All the best Jan
Oh goodness...just beautiful and so talented you are...(wink, wink)...:)JP
I think you are ready to knit the hubs a pair of socks.
The wrap is turning out very, VERY well. It's beautiful!
The hat is adorable and the wrap is gorgeous. I started a project this week and had to Frog it, three different times because I looked up to see what was on TV and messed up the pattern! I hate trying to Rip It back, and put the stitches back on the needle. Sorry--I'll be quiet now so you don't lose your count.
It all looks great. I just LOVE the cloche. I'm thinking about knitting a brioche stitch clove for the winter... but I haven't learned the stitch!
What a great hat. I love the magic of blocking!
That wrap is beautiful!!! So is your hat. I have to block my rugs too. It is magic in getting the edges to lay flat.
I adore that wrap and you are knitting it so beautifully!! I say (or not say) the same thing to my family when I'm knitting :-)
Yes, I can relate:) Your hat turned out cute as can be.
I like the feather and I love the wrap. It's beautiful!
All your work is absolutely gorgeous! And -- I used to do the same when I did counted cross stitch!
What a lovely set- beautiful detail son the hat and I bet that scarf will be a favorite!
Lovely work! I've always wanted to learn more than the basics of knitting. I think the sound and rhythm of the needles clicking together is so peaceful!
You are so right, quiet time refreshes the soul! As does knitting I've been told!
Oh Miss Debbie I am in such awe of how far you have come in your knitting. I admire your patience and your talent. You are a real knitter and your scarf and that hat are so beautiful. I need to come and take lessons with you. HUGS So proud of you. HUGS B
Great to see your enthusiasm.

Love-love-LOVE your wrap! It looks like you have chosen a great yarn for it as well. The patterns really stand out. And the hat....oh too sweet!
Your hat is so cute!

HA HA, yes everyone knows if I don't respond right away I am counting but it is usually for my counted cross-stitch.... It is looking just fabulous and you are coming along quite quickly. So glad you went with the feather on the hat it turned out great and makes it more unique, LOVE it!
You have some lovely finishes here! Well done! (I know you are still working on the guernsey wrap but it's LONG! Applause!
As I mentioned on Facebook; I love your hat; it is adorable. Your wrap is beautiful. Remember you need to model it in a photo. Blessings and hugs!
Both wrap and hat are gorgeous and yes I would keep the feather too.
