There are a few spots in the yard that the birds seem to favor!
It's like their "pit stop", "layover spot",
before hitting the feeders.

Boy, they sure do look pretty! The coloring on that white throated sparrow is such a wonderful combo of some of nature's best hues! Also...LOVE all your knitting. So glad you have a place to stay cool and do something you love until the heat leaves you alone :-)
These are such gorgeous photos of the birds! I'm sure they enjoy coming to visit you!
I never thought of it that way, but it is true! Well done. Our catalpa tree is the fave!
They look fluffed as if for cold weather. I guess they cool that way too.
Great shots.
Wow, these are gorgeous! Nice work!

They seem to land at all the right places for good photos.
You are such an incredible photographer. These photos are so clear and beautiful.
Such pretty birds! Nice to see!
these are all gorgeous birds that you have coing into your garden.
Gorgeous birds, so different from the ones I see here in the UK - and superb photographs. Here, we have several types of Sparrows but their appearance isn't as colourful as these.
Thanks for showing us your lovely visitors - and I am another fan of that little Chickadee; I even love its name. Does it sing "Chickadee"?
Hello Debbie, pretty variety of birds and great photos. Enjoy your day!

You are a whiz girl with your lens. These are just beautiful Debbie.
Oh, dear friend; I always enjoy the pictures of the birds. I like that you showed a variety of different birds on one post. It was fun to look at their differences. Hugs!
All such beautiful pictures, we have a tree in our yard too that they all hang out on until they visit the bird feeder.
