...So Few Hiding Spaces...
I have "outgrow" my knitting caddy, it's overflowing with yarn.
I continue to knit.
As the hubs and I select a movie to rent for the evening,
I ponder whether it will be a good movie to "knit" by.
Meaning, I encourage him to pick a movie that I will "not" like.
No more chick flicks for this girl, now I want blood and guts.
I think he's on to me!!
My friends at the farm continue to make me smile,
their Alpaca yarn is amazing, wonderful to work with.
Over the last week or so, I finished two more.
Are they not dreamy?
I just started this hat, a special request from a friend,
who's sister won't have hair this winter to keep her warm.
This is a very special one, it will be done in a day or two
My Em gave me that sand dollar she found in Florida,
it really shows off the colors of the hats!
Quick, funny story...
When the hubs comes in the room and I am knitting,
he quietly asks if I am counting.
I always say no.
Then he asks if I can help him for a minute,
when I get to the end of the row.
when I get to the end of the row.
My knitting friends will "get" this!
He is a "knitting husband", already!!

Hi Debbie, your hats are really lovely. You really have been bitten by the bug haven't you :))
I used to knit lots when I was younger and the girls were small. It's very therapeutic. That yarn looks so lovely and soft! Have fun.
PS.Can I ask what a sand dollar is?
Your hats are very pretty- I can imagine the yarn is alpaca yarn is very soft! Have a great Sunday!
chuck is TOTALLY your enabler... :) and the alpaca farm is your dealer...
:)
Hehehehehehehe...Hahahahhahh
I totally get it!
I love that he asks if you are counting, that is so sweet. I also like that they call you Purple Debbie. The yarn is so yummy, yep, that is how it starts, first you out grow one thing and it just keeps growing. :)
Your hats are wonderful.
I love how you watch movies now. That is so cute Debbie.
Have a lovely day.

Wow!
Debby you have a very beautiful and different wool.
Your products are beautifully made.
Greetings.
So glad you're a full-fledged knitter, and that your husband knows what to say!!
ha ha...a knitting husband.
I wonder how similar that is to a football widow.
What a sweet hubby! I have been crocheting so much, but my guy hasn't caught on yet. :-) Funny about the movie choices, too...I had to stop crocheting to watch The Mission last night. Hadn't seen it in years and it is SOOO good! Some things, I keep right on going.
Love your wonderful hats! And your caddy is definitely needing a "friend"...My hubby said he saw a "yarn organizer" in a catalog I might be interested in. Now, that's pretty cool! :-)
I am so loving following your knitting journey, Debbie. Everything you knit is so very beautiful too!
I leave the room if hubs wants to watch Blood & Guts and go glut myself on cute puppy or kitten Youtube videos! LOL!
So nice of you to knit a hat for the one who will need it this winter. You're so very kind, Debbie.
I don't watch movies but instead of the romantic books, somehow I've become a mystery type reader. One of these nights I'm going to have nightmares. :)
xoxo
LOL! You're outta control! :-)
Lovely job on your hats! Sounds like a great past-time. When I used to crochet I particularly enjoyed doing it while watching series on Youtube!
Hubster adapts well!!! (Good training) Love your hats. Have a great week. Knit away, but look up once in a while to enjoy the beautiful fall colors!!!
Glad your husband knows how to adapt :)
What a wonderful cap for your friend. I used to knit hats for the local cancer center. It feels good! Gave me something to do during the winter months and helped someone else in the process. My kids all were "knitter kids", the knew to stand quietly until Mom finished the row, before they asked their question. I think it taught them patience. LOL
I agree with Theresa--you have a habit going on! :-) But it's a healthy habit. Your hats are sooooo pretty. I love the purple one especially.
I have not been knitting much lately because it hurts my shoulder. But soon, very soon.
Wonderful colours.. both beanies are lovely!
You are knitting up a storm - and everything looks so pretty! Your husband is a sweet man to understand this knitting etiquette!
My hubbs complains that I always have to keep the lights on when we watch a movie (I should say he watches while I knit). The other day I had an electrician here and we had some things done around the house. He actually changed out a light in the ceiling so it shines directly on my knitting chair :) I love it. I used to have a desk light from Michael's that was great, but Rudee thought the wire was a good thing to chew on. I'll have to remind Freddy to put a new one on my Christmas list!

You are knitting away. I loved the pictures of the hats because you do such an expert job. I love the colors also. How fun to make one for someone who will wear it a lot.
Love your talent in this area and I do need to go and get my lesson on knitting.
Blessings!
