I had such an action packed weekend,
filled with all the things I love to do most.
Did you know,
Did you know,
Sunday was National Alpaca Farm Day...
and here at "The Coop", they sure know how to celebrate.
Here's The Coop at Arrow Acres Farm...
it's so welcoming...it really invites one to sit down and stay a spell.
Every detail was attended to.
There was lots of Alpaca fiber on display...
and beautiful handmade items on display...
and for purchase.
transforms you back to a simpler day and time.
Can you see why I love it here?
It's fall at the farm...
the family set up a huge tent for folks to sit and rest.
Here you can enjoy a hot dog,
homemade cookies or a cold glass of sweet apple cider.
Here, you have a wonderful view of the Alpaca.
Many thanks to Don, Dee, Leanne, Liz and Andee
for making my visit so special.
Tomorrow I'll share pictures of the Alpaca,
and the baby, born only 2 days before!

Such an awesome place to visit. Yes indeed, I can see why you love it. :)
Debbie, National Alpaca Day looks like fun. For me it is something new.
In my country, alpacas live only in the Zoo.

I didn't know there was such a day, but they do it up right! :-)
I wonder if there is a National Cat Day?
My girlfriend used to spin my long haired cat's fur into the most beautiful yarn. Unfortunately, even though I could bury my face in his fluffy fur with no problem, his spun fur still made me itch!
I can see why you love it there! It looks so peaceful.
That wooden basket behind the spinning wheel caught my eye--it's gorgeous!!
The sweaters are beautiful! A very picturesque farm!
Here is another Someday to add to my list. I would love to go and visit and enjoy that day too.
I cannot wait to see baby pictures. I love baby animals but Alpacas have to be the cutest I have ever seen.
How nice, Debbie! The sweaters and things look so SOFT!!! Love that they opened up their farm to celebrate. You got some great photos of the grounds!
I just adore all of your photos, fence or not! It's totally autumn at its best!
Beautiful photos! I'm shocked you got pictures without people!!! It was so crowded while you were here!
What a fun outing for you. It looks like a really great place and I want that Yellow jacket.
What size and how much is that blue sweater!!??? That's beautiful! (as is the spirit of this place - such a treat to get to visit with you!)
What a sweet adventure you had. I loved the pictures of the farm and the awesome handiwork.
