On October 5th, 2014, we visited
located in Buck's County, Pa.
Home for this beautiful historic Water Mill...
that is still running today!
And, oh yes, the reason I am writing on this Thursday...
the very typical, not so exciting, wet fence in front of it.
Here's the hubs and I, posing in front of one of the many scarecrows
on display in Peddlers Village.
Every fall, they hold a scarecrow contest for the local peeps...
more on that tomorrow!!
Sharing today's Water Mill Fence with my good friend
for Good Fences.
Stop by and consider joining in the fun, any fence or gate will do!!

Lovely watermill! The scarecrow contest sounds interesting! A couple years ago scarecrows/dummies pretty much took over one of the local towns here, getting the town on even the national news. I think you can find a local news clip by searching Youtube for Dummies in Ackley, IA. Just about every store had a dummy made to look like its owner.
Those are beautiful photos! All the mills and covered bridges, along with the mountain ranges and American history are what I loved about Pennsylvania!
What charming shots.
That looks like a charming area to visit.
either you're time-travelers or you meant last year or maybe last month. ;)
but i knew you'd find a fence! i just knew it! thanks, my dear friend!
I love the last picture - too cute :)
Lovely photos, Debbie. Enjoy your day!
Thanks so much for the link, of course I had to check it out. This just my kind of fall thing to fall in love with. I've had a secret passion for Scarecrows, for a long time!
I love Peddlar's Village -- all those cute shops and seasonal decor. I'm thinking of a day trip when they have it decorated for Christmas.
Love the picture of you two with the scarecrow.
You look like you guys dropped into our displays Of Halloween displays in Haliburton, Ontario, Canada. We have the same. Where you would be now in our town pretending sitting it is called the Cozy Corner's. A family Restaurant.
Nice pics today.
I love to see something that old still work. Amazing. :)
Love the wheel and the fence.
I like mill wheels, and it's cool that it's still working. Our town has a scarecrow contest, too. I'm going to try to get photos this weekend to share.
I love places like this! I posted some mill photos last night and some pics of the adjoining grounds today.

What else would you expect at a Watermill but a wet fence! It's a lovely mill and you both look great with that scarecrow. I can't wait to see more of them.
