Of The American Robin

Can I tell you this guy was serious. 
It's a lot of work and he was exhausted after prettying up for the ladies!!

I think that is the wettest (is that a word??) bird I've ever seen! And I love that it's a robin. Great shots - you capture all the colors and activity so clearly, and also seem to capture their personalities!!

omg these are awesome pictures. The detail is just beautiful. I always love your thoughts too. My husband is looking to taking a photography class. Did you take one? Also, what kind of camera do you have?

What a fun series. He really got into the feather cleaning. I like how fluffy and fuzzed up the feathers look.
