Do you remember the first visit from "our" gorgeous Male Pheasant?
It was March 11, 2013, a beautiful snowy day and I shared pictures here.
Well he's back...
and when I say he's back, he thinks he lives here.
I like this picture because you can see how thick and large
his legs and feet are.
Looking pretty comfy here,
I was outside with him, about 20 feet away.
The hubs went out and got some corn for him,
they like corn you know.
He lays it right on that gray block ledge.
He gobbles it all up and the hubs puts out more.
All of these pictures were taken over the last few days of March,
he lets me get pretty close now.
Perhaps it's his way of saying thanks for the food.
Here he is strutting his stuff like he owns the place,
I think he is here to stay.
Did I mention we live in the suburbs?
I'm so sorry if I have not been by to visit,
I have been so tired from chasing my Pheasant,
I am trying to catch up.

LOVE that you have your very own rooster! too darn cute! and you are getting some GREAT shots!
He is one handsome fella, Debbie.
Love those colors, and he seems very happy in your yard!
He found a good home with you guys!
Debbie, this bird is very beautiful and handsome.
Add to the beauty of colorful feathers.

What a handsome fellow - and so tame! Lucky you to have such a distinguished visitor.
He's one good looking bird! These are wonderful photos. We had one in our neighborhood last year. We thought he was an escapee from the rod and gun club as they release pheasants to shoot every year. We were rooting for him to survive but we haven't seen him for months now.
Wow- those are some cool shots- he really does look like he owns the place!
Do you suppose his Mrs. will turn up soon?! He has such beautiful feathers.
Oh I am so happy he adopted you. A perfect match :) B
Oh, he is SOOO beautiful! Look at the red markings on his face! Your pictures are amazing. he really does look like he's "home" :-)

Just amazing - such a pretty guy! The vibrant colors are just wonderful!!
Too funny! That is one cool bird you've got.
Debbie, he could take up permanent residence. But, he really should be looking for a female about now. Great shots of your friendly Pheasant.
Wow - he is one handsome bird! Very nice photos!
WOW is all I can say....he is absolutely beautiful and I can't get over all the colors and patterns on him....You really were able to capture some awesome shots....Maybe he's your new pet....
Hi Debbie...To funny...I'm betting he has outwitted the hunting season from last falls release or he is actually a city slicker that moved to the suburbs {smile} !!
Anyway he is a handsome, chap no matter what and how!! Keep the corn out and click click,click!!...maybe he has a girlfriend he can bring
by!! ; )

Since you live in the suburbs, I wonder where he came from? I see them out in the country every now and then. I hope a cat or some other animal doesn't get him. He's a beauty and you've gotten some awesome shots!
I love "your" pheasant! He's beautiful. This a new thing for me, because I don't remember ever seeing one. Thank you so much for sharing your adventure!
Great photos. They are amazing creatures. I miss their cackles. I'm glad you are getting some quality time with him.
He's gorgeous!
That's pretty darn cool! Awesome shots, Debbie! I've never heard of a pheasant hanging around like that. You've got a unique guest! :-)
Great title! That is one beautiful bird. You are lucky. I think you have yourself a pet bird.
You've been adopted. Great shots of this colourful guy!
Te ptaki są śliczne i kolorowe. Bardzo ładne zdjęcia też mają. Pozdrawiam.
These birds are beautiful and colorful. Very nice pictures too have. Yours.
It sounds pleasant to be chasing a pheasant ;)
What beautiful pictures of the Pheasant. I loved this one. Regretfully, my Dad and brothers used to go pheasant hunting. I was the dog that went through the bushes to scared the birds.
Now, I think they are so beautiful and the pictures of this one are awesome. Perhaps you should give him a name. I certainly don't like the idea of killing them anymore.
Blessings!
That is so awesome! I wish I had one!
Of course you have to let the help get close enough to put the food on the table, uh, ledge... I bet he is just so happy that he is being fed, rather than being the dinner...
