Scrapbook: An album into which clippings,
notes or pictures can be pasted.
Scrap-a-holic: A person who is addicted to making scrapbooks.
A memory keeper!!
That's me!!
I took some pictures around the house,
to show you what I am talking about.
to show you what I am talking about.
Every table in my home, has a Scrapbook on it.
I leave the books on the tables open.
If it's winter, I open the book to some past wintry pages.
I don't have enough tables to openly display them all.
Twenty two books are stored here, closed.
The books are themed.
School book memories, sports memories and family vacations.
Seven books are stored here, closed.
I prefer seeing them out and open,
it encourages friends & family look at them.
These are all vacation and Disney books.
Sometimes I use a photo album and make it into a scrapbook.
I always rotate the books and the pages they are open to.
They are everywhere you look...
All my wonderful memories, recorded and preserved forever!!
Perhaps tomorrow, I will share some pictures,
of my craft room/home office!!

i have always kept photo albums since i was a kid. less so, though, since i've been blogging. and, no, i'm not gonna print my blog as a photo book. :)
Yes Ma'am!! Kindred...that's all I'll say! (that, and I really do want to see pics of your craft room!)
It's great that you not only keep the memories, but you share them by having the books easily accessible. I would love to see photos of your craft room!
I love it! If I ever put my knitting needles down maybe I could do something creative too!

Trabalho perfeito! Lindo e é bom registrar, guardar tudinho! beijos, chica
I am impressed! I put photos in albums but I just don't have the time or the patience to "Scrap"! I admire your diligence! And I love the white table!
Wow - I have random photos, ticket stubs, playbills all in a disorganized array - lying around the house... booo, I'm bad about scrapbooking. Yours look fabulous!
Shells, blog books, birds, scrap books, sea glass, hmmmmm, what else? Diet Coke?
You make me want to take out all my scrapbook stuff, but I have too much to do. Your pages are so lovely.
I love that you keep them out and rotate them...I have lots too but I am afraid they get piled on a shelf somewhere...
I'd rather call them your Books Of Love because it's so obvious that's what they are filled with. I love the way you display them. CAN'T WAIT to see your office!
What a wonderful idea. We have so many memories in photos that never get seen.
I did a few scrapbooks of my lighthouse trips so I could sit in my rocking chair and relive them when I get old. hehe I don't scrapbook anymore. It's too time consuming.
I'd love to look at some of yours!
How wonderful to have them available to enjoy so easily.
Oh Debbie I am sure I would spend hours looking through your memories and love every minute of it. I wish I was as organised as you. Wonderful.. Hugs. B
After looking at photo boxes filled with photo folders, I decided well over a month ago to organize the photos into albums. I already had lots of nearly blank albums, started but not completed or updated. Since then I have completed 5 books with photos of grandkids, other family and it is so nice NOW to be ale to share them easily. Also, I am sending most of the extra photos to family members and only keeping a few extras that will fit in a single photo box as back-ups. It IS nice to share memories as you do...looking forward to seeing your craft room photos.
Oh, I love that you leave so many of your scrapbooks out "in the open". I've only made a few: mostly for gifts. Maybe one day I'll share the one I made for Marshall of his first 21 years!
You are a girl after my own heart, Debbie... I scrapbook every occasion. I have dozens of them!
I have however, started making some of them online. They're not as nice as the real deal, but cheaper and quicker to make.
So you see, I too am a scrap-a-holic!
I wish we lived closer too, I think we would have gotten along just fine!
Debbie, you are amazing!
These are just wonderful.
Sounds like you have a very good handle on your "addiction." Everything looks very organized.
So neatly done!
I've been printing my blog every year and so I no longer have to paste up a family album.
How nice, I was just thinking today of the boxes of photographs I have in boxes. Yours looks so nice and well ordered.
