My Alpaca Adventure

A little background first...
I have a dear friend Andee at Match the Pictures
her parents own Arrow Acres Farm

A mutual friend introduced us,
we have maintained our friendship through blogging
and our love for nature and photography.

She is the sweetest, most creative person I know.
She is half my age and she really likes me.
I have an open invitation to visit their Alpaca Farm,
her mom and dad are just as wonderful as she.

Yesterday, I went to the farm, excitement overload ensued!

Here's my version...

It was a gorgeous day 60 degrees, full sun, the weather was perfect.
I was so excited to see my bubbly Andee, running around the farm.
When I pulled up, she had many of her beautiful shawls
displayed on the farm fence...the Alpaca's were everywhere.
ohhh, I'm really in the country, I'm on a farm.

I took some pictures of Andee, wearing her beautiful shawl,
I fed the Alpaca's carrots,
more pictures, more carrots and a fall.
Yes, I actually got dirty.
I learned how to spread their fiber and not to stand behind them.
Just for your knowledge, they can kick!

I took a lot of picture's, these are my favorite's.

 Star

Melody

Blue

 Awan

 Blue, Awan and Kigo

ooohhhh friends, what a wonderful day!
They are all so beautiful!!

Would you enjoy a day on the farm?
Can you pick a favorite Alpaca?

to have a farm experience without dirt would be no farm experience at all! and add hair to that statement, too. :)

they are SO cute - as are you! and andee, as well.

Nice photos! Any day on a farm is a good day. You also need a lot of dirt on you just to prove that you were on a farm. :-}

Many thanks for introducing Andee. What a sweetheart. I am very happy for both of you.
Alpacas are on my list of Someday animals. If only I could figure out how to make the Someday get here a bit quicker.
