My Backyard Beauties

The hubs filled the feeders and my backyard birdies
have forgiven me for letting them go empty.

I am not saving the best for last...

this Black Capped Chickadee was my favorite.

He tried giving me the cold shoulder first,
then he realized there was no reason for that.

My Titmouse sayin' hey, where ya' been!

Then striking a beautiful pose when he saw that the feeders were full.

My handsome male House Finch

My tiny Dark-Eyed Junco
I love how pink his little beak looks here.

White Throated Sparrow, in desperate need of some shades!!

December 28, 2012, it was a beautiful, fun filled day!!

Hi, fellow bird-lover! Beautiful shots of your birdies. They are keeping us busy here filling feeders. I had to get some more seed today for the finch feeder and suet. Take care!

Great series and birds, Debbie! Live the cute Chickadees. The one you are said is a finch do you have any more photos. Was there any reddish color than the spot I am seeing on its head?

Great pictures and such interesting birds. We don't have cute little fellas like that in Georgia!

Beautiful shots and a nice variety of birds, Debbie! We have them all here, too, except the Junco and our chickadees are Carolina instead of Black-capped. A lot of House Sparrows, unfortunately.

Wonderful bird photo's. I love that little Chickadee. I'm still trying to get a decent picture of one in our bird feeder but they are very wary of me and tend to fly whenever they see me.
