Life At The Jersey Shore...

it's pretty amazing you know, living at the Jersey Shore.

A twenty minute drive, brings me here,

to Long Branch, New Jersey
There are other beaches closer but this beach is my favorite.

October 10th, was a "10" here at the shore, everything was perfect.

My spirit, light as a feather.

The hubs dropped this purchased shell on the beach, for me to find.
I was pretty excited at first,
as he usually "plants" sea glass you know.
Can you just imagine my joy when I spotted this??

He knows this makes me happy, we use to do this when we were dating.

We also did this when we were kids!

We have been using the collapsible tri-pod to take these photo's,
Chuck is holding it two pictures up, you can see how small it folds up.

Can you see the "hug me", it's kinda cute!!

Can't you just feel the spray?

And how about some crab for dinner??

Life sure is good, at the Jersey Shore.

We found twelve pieces of sea glass.
The large shell and the large pink & blue pieces of sea glass
the hubs planted.
The small red piece of glass I found,
it is the first red piece in my collection!!

I love these pictures. It does my heart good to see the pics of you and your husband. Just lovely!!

I visited New Jersey many years ago when my BIL was stationed at McGuire AFB to visit my sis. What I saw of New Jersey was indeed beautiful.

Hi Debbie, looks like a beautiful day to be at the Jersey shore. I like your collection of shells and sea glass. Your hubby is so sweet. If you are really into collecting seaglass I heard there is a beach in Bermuda that has tons of it. You should go there and get yourself some. Have a wonderful weekend.

Ten dzień był dla Ciebie wspaniały i ze wspomnieniami, ale dla mnie też, bo widziałam morze, które uwielbiam. Pozdrawiam.
This day was for you and the wonderful memories, but for me, too, because I saw the sea, which I love. Yours.

Oh how romantic your Chuck is everyone should have a Chuck or a My Hero we are truly lucky.
I would love to walk that beach with you and pick up sea glass and laugh and have fun. I could feel the spray but it may be that I just came in from the hail that was falling outside. :) B

Love your photos. I, too, am a Jersey Shore gal, but from farther south -- Ocean City, and just for summers when I was a kid. My MS limits my trips nowadays, but it warmed my heart to see you, your husband and "our" beautiful ocean!
Peace,
Muff

Your Chuck is a real sweetie! My hubby has his moments, but I don't know that he would buy sea glass and plant it for me to find. That is so Special! Beautiful pics, Debbie! It's so good to see you looking happy!

I love to read about your romantic strolls Debbie. Having an equally romantic hubby is wonderful isn't it! Being spoilt is lovely. So cute how he plants things for you to find.
Your coastline is superb, I really can feel the salt on my face after that refreshing walk by the sea. Thank you... a lovely post :D)

That's cute that he plants those things for him--but I'd always be wondering if I really found some or if he planted them. Does he tell you??

I love seeing you two "kids" having fun! If I lived near a beach like that I would be there all the time taking photos, hunting for shells and sea glass.

Wonderful pics, Debbie! You & your hubby remind me of us: so in love! Do you mind sending me the info on where you bought the little tri-pod? Did you order it online?

Thanks Debbie for the photos of the Jersey shore which brings back memories. Our favorite beach was Isand Beach State Park as we were not too far and our favorite park was Double Trouble State Park. Nice photos of you and Chuck and he is such a sweetie and so are you.

Wow what a happy post Debbie -- I love the whole thing. I read a novel once that had a person who collected sea glass and I've always wanted to see some....maybe someday. Lovely pictures every single one.
