Fish for Dinner...

As I put this entry together, the pictures all started to look the same.
Yet I was unable to delete any of them.
I know you understand.
As I sat with him, this Great Egret had a fish for dinner.
He ate slowly, so I was able to photograph the entire process.

This is the second set of images I took on October 11th, 2012.
There are more, of course. I think I will save them for next week.
I did not crop these as I fell in love with the blue background water.

These images are untouched.
This is exactly what I saw, through my lens!
It was so exciting!!

oooh nice! I know I would have sat there and clicked away and wound up with 100 images all looking basically the same, but I'd be excited by every one of them.

The action shots! Nice job! It's cool to watch them catch and eat fish and get photos of the whole process! They tend to forget you're there when they're preoccupied. Beautiful photos!

Debbie, lovely series. It is neat to be able to watch the egrets fishing. He might need to catch a bigger fish next time.
