Rural Thursday Blog Hop

I am not a huge fan of cats, I am allergic to their hair.
My children had fish, birds and guinea pigs growing up,
no dogs or cats.
Soon after Scott moved out, he was excited to get a "real" pet,
and...

He discovered he loved cats!
This is Duke, Scott's cat.

And guess what I discovered,
I like them too, it's just the hair I can't deal with,
and that's why they make Benadryl, it works wonderfully.

Isn't he adorable!!

And he loved posing for pictures!!

  1. And quite the poser he is! If my daughter had her way, we'd have one of every kind of pet possible. LOL

  2. I'm allergic to cats too, but I'm a cat person, and I've discovered that I build up a tolerance to my own cats after a while. Then, only other cats will bother me.

  4. He's very handsome. I don't think I'll ever be the cat-owning kind, but I do think they are interesting creatures.

  10. That is a beautiful cat!!! They are worth every bit of extra trouble they make! I'm not allergic - thank goodness! One tome I had 5 dogs and 2 cats plus assorted hermit crabs, turtles, birds - all.at.the.same.time.

But that was when I had children in the house! Now just ONE dog and ONE cat - at a time!

  12. Duke is beautiful! I love cats and have had one or two or three since I moved out of my parents' house many years ago. But am currently catless. One of these days, I will have one or two more.

  13. Duke is very handsome. So nice he will pose for you. I have to do stealth shots to photograph two of my three cats. They never sit still. Too busy chasing birdies. Do glad you discovered Benadryl. I love cats too.

  18. Kotek jest śliczny i uroku mu dodaje plama na nosie. Jako dziecko miałam kotka, teraz mam pieska i chyba by z kotem nie żył w zgodzie. Pozdrawiam.
Kitty is cute and adds charm to his spot on the nose. As a child I had a cat, dog and now I think that the cat did not live in harmony. Yours.

  19. He is beautiful. I love those green eyes. Have you tried Allegra? It doesn't make you drowsy. I can live without it. I am a gardener who is allergic to almost everything blooming. The irony of fate!

  24. He's a cute cat, as far as cats go. I'm allergic to them also, wheeze, sneeze, eye's water, and lungs fill up. Not enough Benadril in this world for me. Just have to stay away.
