Busy as a Bee

Not me...this Bumble Bee!!

I spent about fifteen minutes photographing the little guy.
I will never admit to how many pictures I took.
It's not really necessary to say, most of them
received the quick honor of "delete"!!

Here he is busy as can be on a small pink flower on my
Gold Flame Spirea,

a low growing shrub that is native to Japan.

His pollen sacks are growing, quickly!!

I now have a better understanding of the term
"Busy as a Bee"

Chuck was cleaning the pool,
I feel tremendous guilt that I was not helping!!
He could care less!!

Wonderful pictures. I can bet your husband would rather have you doing something you love - photography.

Such beautiful spirea. And keeping up with the bees and all those deletes is productive work, too.

Photographing a bee is much more important that cleaning a pool :) especially when the photos turn out like this!

I am glad you were taking pictures instead of cleaning the pool....This is a great shot of this busy little guy.....

Hi Debbie, great captures. I have the spirea too. It is a lovely plant. Taking pictures is a lot more fun than cleaning the pool. Have a great day!

Gorgeous pictures Debbie both the bee and your pretty flower are lovely.
I find it so hard to get pictures of bees - they move soooo fast, or maybe I'm just too slow :))

Bees are not easy to photograph since they rarely sit still for long. Love the in flight shot! Nice job!
