You inspired me to get three bird feeders. I don't know how I lived without them! Now as I sit and work for 8 hours a day I look out my window and see dozens of my feathered friends!

You have spent a lot of money to raise this family. But it is wurth it. Such a wonderful experience it must be that they visit your garden. Fantastic captured Deb.

Oh Debbie, You are so funny. Kids are really expensive to put through college now a days. We have 3 in college right now, Thank goodness for the prepaid, even though it doesn't cover everything, but it helps alot.
He is gorgeous. Such a great shot of him.
Beautiful.

Your kids probably complained that all they got to eat throughout college was bird feed. ;>)

He's a handsome fella! Little touch of the punk rocker in him! And you must be treating him to the best seed money can buy!!

Pretty Bird! We have a pair of woodpeckers that have lived in our back yard elm tree for a few years now. I just love birds......nearly ALL birds. Not too fond of the trash birds, though.

What a lovely little bird and your pictures are lovely.

Terrific photographs, Debbie! Our Downy Woodpeckers can get enough of the suet cakes. I believe I replace them once a week.

Thanks for a memory on this one. When we lived in Washington we had a woodpecker that would wake us up as he pecked away at our steel chimney. We tried all sorts of things to scare him a ways; but nothing really worked. I think we should have tried feeding him at an other location.
I am smiling at this one!
