I enjoyed seeing YOUR woodpecker! We have a pair that live in the elm tree in our back yard. I never fail to be thrilled at the sight of that red patch and the zebra pattern of his feathers!
Hi Debbie...When I saw your woodpecker post...the Woody Woodpecker song from the cartoon came to mind...dear me I don't know why haven't heard it in Yearrrr's lol They are so much fun to watch ..some good shot's of him too!! Grace

I too wonder what animals are thinking as well as people when I see that stare in one's eyes....Maybe it's because I have such an active imagination I don't know.... I think he's thinking "Do you want to come out here and we'll make some holes together"....
