I pass this rusted old truck on my way to and from my infusions. On the way, we are always rushing so as not to be late. I always fuss at home, I never want to go. I wait until the last possible second to put my flip flops on and get in to the car. I bring so much shit, you would think I was staying for a week. As we drive I am quiet, maybe feeling a little sorry for myself. As we drive I see a million things I want to stop and photograph, more fussing. On the way home I feel like crap, so we never stop so I can get a picture. The other day, we made a special "turn" so I could get my photo!!!
There it is......
I am so intrigued by it!!!!
I am not sure why??
There is a second one, but I like the first one better!!!
They have been there forever, I have been passing them for years.
We went past the other day, now they are gone.
It's so important to do things......and not wait for tomorrow!!!!

Very wise advice Debbie, and I am so glad you stopped to capture these. Love old trucks as much as I love old houses/barns.
These are great!
They're wonderful photos of an old workhorse. It could tell a story and I can understand why you wanted to photograph it.
Lucky you made the special turn back when you did!
All the best Debbie :D)
I think about this alot, especially with the old barns. Great captures, Debbie. :)
Intrigued because it's so cool! =) There's an old GMC down the street from where I live & I keep wanting to photograph it, but I'm scared to death the owner will run out w/ a gun yelling thinking I'm 'casing the joint' wanting to steal his pick-up. =0 That's so not something I want to get myself into...
I am so glad you made your unexpected turn and was able to get pictures before the antique trucks disappeared.
Great advice, Debbie. And so true!
The trucks are as intriguing as old houses are. Lots of past lives around them.
I love that picture with the fence in front!
xxxxxxx
I find the rust impressive for how it seems all over the old truck. Perhaps someone picked it up with the idea of restoring it.
Seize the moment! That's my motto. I wonder if the first one still runs?
Don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today....isn't this what our Mom's always said? The old stuff is so much better than the new stuff....that what this Mom says!
Great captures!! Love the old truck.
A good lesson! I am glad to have found your blog! We have some things in common!
i'm glad you got photos when you did! i like the old ford trucks. always reminds me of my dad and his (not quite as old) ford pickup. :)
Those trucks could tell a lot of stories,I'm sure.Glad you got the pictures when you did.
It's too easy to put off doing something until tomorrow isn't it. Good for you, getting your pictures. Now you will always remember it.
You are so right. that has happened to me so many times, only I didn't get the shot before they went away. Good timing Debbie!
I love old trucks...old cars, too but not as much as trucks.
