The Bakery was open when we went to
for the Fairies and Forest Friends Event. I wrote about that yesterday, here.
The Bakery is one of the 13 original buildings from 1822.
It was a part of a well established, self sustained, active community of 400 people until 1848.
We visit the park often as it is close to home.

Very nice photos, the place looks inviting. The zucchini walnut bread would be fantastic with coffee on a chilly Spring morning.

I love bakeries... especially ones that have ambiance... that one seems to.
So lovely in a beautiful setting
Very nice place to visit and lots of treats to buy!
The bee hive oven is interesting: either it warms bees in winter or its the deep shape and fire in the back of the oven. Linda in Kansas
Debbie, I enjoyed the fairy garden photos in the previous post, but this bakery had such sweet treats that I could not have left empty-handed. Did you indulge?
So pleased they let you take photographs.
