Alexa never took care of putting away the Christmas Decorations but have no fear...
the hubs was a huge help and all that is Christmas is neatly tucked away.
It is an adjustment seeing the house this way.
But it is a clean and cozy, and no matter the decor, I love being home.
The living room...
I left a few snowmen out with the lights around the television, I love the clear lights.
This used to be the Dining Room and is now our Home Office.
The Family Room
I am still looking for the one Christmas item I missed while putting the decorations away.
You know that one...it can't be just me?
That one thing you find after all the boxes are packed up and put away!

Your home is beautiful. I have most picked up, will finish up today. Oh, when I find a Christmas or other holiday item I forgot to box up....I just put in a drawer or something until the next year. I opened a drawer recently and found Easter items, so now I know where that is. (wink, wink)
I found that item yesterday. Our decorations went away on Saturday.

Yes all my Christmas decorations have been safely put away.
Quite a few friends have left some twinkly lights out and they do look welcoming during the darker winter months.

We do not have an Alexa either, Debbie, so will be taking down and putting the decos away ourselves but not until later this month. We enjoy having the tree lit and since it's not a "live" one there's no rush to take it down and we also set it up later this year, so will take ti down later. Thanks for the tour of your home, which looks spacious and comfortable. Wishing you a Happy 2026 full of new experiences and adventures.
