No matter the season, visiting
should always be at the top of your "I gotta' go there" list.
Located in Kennett Square, Pa., we have season passes, and it is about a 2 hour ride to visit.
We visit often, but Autumn is not the most popular time to visit.
We went on Wednesday of this week
and I would say in comparison to other visits, the gardens were empty.
It was a beautiful day, the air was crisp and fall like, and the trees were beginning to change color.
I think our fall color is arriving late, or may be nonexistent because of the lack of rain.
There was lots to see and enjoy, they had plenty of pumpkin and mum displays.
These stars were covered in clear lights and were in several areas of the gardens
I don't know if they are stars or snowflakes or they are preparing for the Christmas display.
The view from the gazebo...it looked like nature had picked up her paintbrush and painted the woods,
one stroke at a time.
This is one of our favorite spots to take a picture.
Inside the Conservatory, the mum displays were gorgeous.
I'll share those pictures soon.

So pretty. Love that selection of pumpkins. The colours of pumpkins grown these days are amazing.
Dear Debbie!
This place is beautiful. I'm enchanted by it.
Although I'm not a fan of autumn, I do enjoy watching the trees change color from a uniform green to all the shades of red, brown, yellow, and gold. And I admit, this time of transformation is spectacular.
Have a wonderful, beautiful weekend. Greetings from distant and autumnal Poland.
Gorgeous pics, Debbie!
Love the mum displays and the stars/snowflakes. Wonderful pictures of you and your husband.
what a nice place to spend some time.

The big yellow mums remind of my youth and the big corsages we’d get for special football games! so pretty 🤩
I'm still realigning my thinking that anything up north towards New Jersey is always snowy and cold. Your area is beautiful with so many different plants and flowers. Thanks for the tours. Linda in Kansas
What a beautiful spot for you and the hubs to visit. So many great pictures, but that last one is my favorite.
