Saturday, was a sunny, breezy, beautiful day and we decided to have a picnic at the inlet.
Picnic was already crossed off the Bucket List several times,
but you can never have too many picnics, right?
We ordered BLT sandwiches from The Beanery, that's our favorite sandwich spot, packed up some chips,
drinks, sweet treats and off we went.
I have to tell you that I have never seen so many boats going in and out of the inlet during a visit.
We saw large privately owned recreational boats, leisure crafts, party boats and commercial fishing boats.
I wish I had started to count, we saw sooooo many.
Gambler
Fish Mongerall
Norma Kay III
Jamaica II
Here we are at our favorite Picnic Table at the inlet.
We dined on BLT"S on toasted ciabatta rolls, chips and sweet tea.
This was about the best picnic we've had this year.

There are 16 more I will share tomorrow.
You can skip over my post tomorrow if the boats don't interest you...
I did not photograph all of the smaller boats, I let the "little ones" get by...
thanks goodness or you guys would be looking at 3 days of boats.

Thanks for taking us with you on your picnic. I'd like the same picnic order and a ticket for a trip on the Gambler boat. Nice waves from the boats going through. Linda in Kansas
Great photos of the boats! Looks like a beautiful day for your picnic. The sandwich looks yummy. Take care, enjoy your day!

great place to visit.... fantastic.
have a wonderful day
I love a good picnic. You just inspired me to have one real soon. It is still hot in my area. You both look so happy and joyful. Your food looks delish! Fun post.
What a fun day watching the boats!
Wow there were many boats weren't there, do you think they were all trying to get one last good day out on their boats. I agree you can't have too many picnics, Greg and I like to pack a picnic too when we go out so that we can just stop and eat whenever we get hungry :)
Love this, my dear friend! The original Norma K my late, beloved Dad was connected to - he was friends with the Capt'n, and I recall even going to visit them at there house one time. Seeing a fishing boat in this same location, a descendant of the original, brings back so many happy memories!!!
Wow...
A picnic is always nice. Yes! And these boats are wonderful—they remind me of when we were in our 30 - 40. My husband and I were active divers back then, and of course, we often went out on boats... great times, really great... and your photos remind me of that. The last time - this was, I went on a boat trip in Ireland was to Skellig Michael.
Hugs and Thank you very much.
