I love watching them stretch, there are times when the lake near us has so many it is hard to watch them all. I can't get over how many feathers they loose, I thought my cats were bad with the shedding :)
Hello Debbie, :=) Brilliant close captures of the beautiful Mute Swans.They seem to be moulting, but I only say this because I see feathers on the ground, as it doesn't affect their appearance. That first shot of the 30 swans in the distance is lovely. All the best.

Are there always that many or are they starting to flock up?
each time i visit, there seem to be more. they leave for the winter and return the following spring!!
It was a big swan convention for sure! SO MANY!--- THEY are so elegant and pretty!!

I have never seen so many swans in one place. I have noticed the Robins gathering this week to get ready to fly south but I never thought of swans.
