She was here recently for a visit,
and to help her parents clean out their home as they are moving to New Zealand...
her father is my younger brother.
This is a medium sized Shawlette by Martina Behm.
I'm using Cascade 220 yarn - Heather - 100% Peruvian Highland Wool Yarn.
This is my Rhinebeck project.
You may remember all of the girls in my knitting group purchased this yarn...
We will use this yarn to make whatever we want with it...
and then we will wear what we have made on the same day, cool, right?
Kinda' twining x 14, it will be so fun to all match in our own way.
every day trying to get more of her delicious chicken eggs.
Every single day, she is sold out.
I sent her a message on Instagram, did my usual boo-hoo, but seriously I have been trying forever.
So she hid a dozen behind her roadside farm stand, she uses the honor system for paying,
I paid and this girl felt so lucky as we drove away.
Many thanks Jillian, those chickens lay some pretty delicious eggs!
And aren't they so pretty?
and they are gorgeous.
I would like to take a ride and photograph all of the different colors I have been seeing!
Hint to the hubs, who reads this every day, take me for a drive!!

The new yarn is so pretty!!! I can't wait to see what you make with it. Your shawl looks beautiful. Can't wait to all match in our purple. And my RHinebeck sweater is purple!!!! It's a Purple Debbie year!
With your brother there, more the reason for you to visit New Zealand. Hope you can go, Debbie.
great post!
Your crêpe myrtle is beautiful.
All the best Jan
that will be neat to see what everyone does with their yarn.
That's nice you were able to get the eggs after all, and what a pretty holder you have for them.
The Crype Mrytle looks like a plant the butterflies would like :)
Hard to beat those farm fresh eggs! Barb has a egg rack on the kitchen counter at home just waiting to be filled again.
Beautiful yarn and a very pretty egg dish!
Oh, Debbie, I'm sure this Shawlette in Purple will look beautiful on you. I love that all your knitting friends are doing their own to model.
The eggs do look good. I love the egg dish; where did you get it? I have a son and a daughter that are raising chickens right now. They don't live near so that is a bummer.
The Crypt Mrytle is gorgeous for sure. I will look forward to the photos of the different colors. You have the best husband ever.
Hugs for you two!!
