I feed my birds and provide water for them year round.
In turn, they sit in the bushes and trees long enough for me to photograph them.
Male House Finch
Catbird
I have a lot of other critters in the yard too...
This is Junior...he hangs out on and hangs from the tree branches too!
We have skunks, opossum, snakes and once recently saw a fox on our front steps...
this might not be so odd except we live in the suburbs.

Hello Debbie,
It is wonderful that all the birds and critters visit your yard and pose for your beautiful photos. Great captures of the House Finch and Catbird. The butterflies are lovely. Cute shots of the bunny, chipmunk and Junior the squirrel. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
The chipmunk wins the post today! He is so cute and I never see them down here. Enjoy your weekend!
Debbie your comments came through! I’ll comment on this beautiful post shortly.
Your shots are always so amazing. Love that chipmunk.
How wonderful to have so much wildlife all around you, I am sure the fox was quite the surprise. We were just watching that America show on National geographic I think it was and they were showing all the work those poor squirrels go through and then other animals come along and eat it.
What a symbiotic relationship you have with the critters! These are beautiful pics!
You have a lot of tenants on your property. Handsome ones too. Love these photos, Debbie.
Your birds are definitely better trained than mine. Mine come to east and then fly deep into a tree so there is no chance for pictures most of the time.
aw, such fabulous pictures. I especially love the first one. Even though I live in town I have seen fox here as well and deer. Saw a muskrat in the pond. Guess these critters are tired of us encroaching on their territory.
Wonderful critters! Delightful.
No turkeys? We had so many they removed some last year.
yes ruth...we do have turkey and also we see pheasants right in our yard!!
So pretty.
Your birds and critters appreciate that you take such good care of them and also maybe they sense that your pictures show them off so beautifully ;>)) Seriously, your yard is wonderful; you have your own nature park right there -- thanks for sharing it.
It is the best ever that you have so many visitors to your garden. I enjoy your beautiful birds and butterflies. I love how you nurture them. Junior has always been a favorite. I have lol at the cute photos of him.
Sending love and hugs!
