Miss. Maddie & The Gingerbread Houses

Niece Deanna usually hosts our annual Gingerbread House Decorating event at her home.
This year her brothers wife Christine offered to have it at her and Billy's,
new to them, 100 year old house.
She did a great job preparing things for the girls, her attention to detail is amazing...
and we had a wonderful time.

Here's my Great Niece Madelyn on the porch of their new house.

The table Christine prepared for the girls to work on was so pretty.
There was candy everywhere for the girls to decorate the
Gingerbread Houses

- heres a longer/wider look -
Christine has an amazing collection of Nutcrackers.

These cookies came with a paintbrush and edible paint
to paint them with.

Their Christmas tree and fireplace mantle, both gorgeous.

The dining room window.

You may notice I forgot to take pictures of the Gingerbread houses,
* whoops *
they were adorable!

Well Debbie, those gingerbread decorators are pretty cute. I love all their names. The house is beautiful all decorated. Madelyn's nickname is spelled as my mother 's name...my mother's was pronounced with a long A . I rarely see the name in print.:) I bet you enjoy the time with those little ladies. I just got a call from my daughter's 5th grade class...she had all the children saying "Merry Christmas Nana" ,lifted my spirits. Blessings to you and all your cutie pies, xoxo, Susie

What a fun thing to do! That 100 year old house looks amazing!!
Gingerbread houses intimidate me! I totally failed on one and can't bring myself to do anything now but admire others!

Those are such adorable girls and I love how you get to enjoy precious moments like this with them. I loved all the decorations; they were magnificent. It looks like such a fun activity for them and you all. Getting photos of them are the most important.
Today, one of our families came over and I got my phone and put it in my pocket for taking pictures and forgot. I am getting out of practice with this Covid 19. I was pretty bummed out about that.
I loved this post! Blessings and hugs for all!
