It was fun to spend a little time hanging out the office window,
photographing my backyard birdies.
They have been getting their usual food and water
but I have not spent much time lately taking pictures of them.
I think they are starting to notice...
but they have not forgotten their poses.
The Black Capped Chickadee
enjoying a sunflower seed, he is one of my favorites!!
The White-Breasted Nuthatch, enjoying a peanut!!

Hello Debbie, cute shots of the Chickadee and Nuthatch! They are both favorites of mine. I hope you had a happy Christmas day! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!

Wonder how he can get that big peanut down such a little throat. - Margy
They do a wonderful job posing for you, and you must really have a clean window! I'm impressed.
Beautiful captures! I wish I could put out food like this, but the squirrels would gobble it up in a second! Squirrels are fun to watch, but they can be so annoying!
You are correct, people who hoard things are called packrats. Every time these little guys make a nest they raid the storage room shelves for things to add to their nests. A red and white fishing bobber is something I always have to retrieve and put back on the shelf. Mixed with the cedar was red rope they chewed off from the dock on the cabin deck. If something is missing, check the woodrat nest. - Margy
Excellent shots - just excellent.
Lovely to look at, thanks for sharing.
All the best Jan
Got love those precious little birds.
Awesome pictures!
Very nice! We have chickadees, but no nuthatches. Love those little guys!
I'll have to think about giving them peanuts. Their mouths never open that wide for the suet!

oh, such cute nuthatches! i see them so rarely here.
Great photos!
Fantastic pics, I love the last one with the peanut in his beak, hard to believe he will be able to eat it.... our ground is so soggy from all the rain we have been getting over the past few days we can't get out to our bird feeder, but it is suppose to dry up tomorrow, YAH!!
I always love your bird photos; these were awesome as usual! Hugs~
