'Twas The Night Before Christmas...

Your viewing ICE at Gaylord National
Two million pounds of ice, hand carved into scenes from
'Twas The Night Before Christmas.

This amazing walk thru attraction depicts this classic holiday story
and includes a two story slide and life size ice sculptures.
Did we ride the slide?? You bet we did...more on that tomorrow.

New this year was Christmas in New York
featuring the iconic sights and sounds of
The Big Apple during the holiday season!!

Was it cold inside you ask, how does nine degrees sound??
They "loan" you those blue parkers, to keep you toasty warm!!

More fun tomorrow!!

You look pretty cool (haha) in those blue parkas. Actually 9 degrees doesn't sound all that bad after most of the last week and a half have been way, way below zero even during the day here in Minnesota!

Debbie, the jackets do look like they would be toasty warm.. Love the shot with you and the hubs. Christmas in New York, seems classic. I remember many NYC trips to see the tree and to shop. The ICE displays are wonderful. Great shots, thanks for sharing your visit. Have a happy weekend!
