The Gingerbread House Contest!!

Every year at Christmas time, Peddlers Village, Pa.
has a Gingerbread Competition and display in the gazebo
on the grounds of their shopping village!
 
I'll share "some" of my favorites here and I want all of you to
pick a favorite as well!!
They are numbered, for ease of voting!!

They are non-traditional ginger breads, your entry does not have to be a house.
They are fun, colorful and oh so creative.
#15 is Rapunzel, not someone "puking" from the tower,
as the hubs thought (insert smile)!!
 
The first six were my favorites but if I am to be honest,
I LOVED all of the ones I photographed!

Making something like this is a skill I do not possess. However, if I did possess such a skill, I would like to make one like #1. Definitely my favorite! Have a Happy New Year!

My favorite is number 1, it is built on a rock, remember the song - a wise man built his house upon a rock! But they are all adorable and every bit as cute as they should be for gingerbread houses. You have such great places to visit in New Jersey, please keep sharing your local fare with us in other places. Thanks Debbie, loved them!

I am so sorry we didn't get up there! My favorites? The castle #1. (It's good to be Queen!!) and the Holiday House. Makes me want to make some of them!!

Wow, it is hard to choose; because I like them all. I think I like #6 best. Lovely photo's as always.

Those are all amazing! It's hard to pick one. I guess I am going with 4. It looks like a house I would like to be a gingerbread woman in. Happy New Year to you and your family!

Ok, I have to admit to becoming glazed over as these beautiful houses kept coming, but #1 and 6 were favorites, then again I would also vote for all for the creativity and skill involved...what happens to all of these after the holidays?
