Our Golden Hour...

As I mentioned yesterday, we visited Longwood Gardens
on August 17th late in the day.
Much later then usual so we could see the Fireworks & Fountains show.
Taking pictures during the "Golden Hour" was fun
but I am not so sure I know what I am doing.

Here's a little peak at what we saw in the gardens...

Oh, I LOVE these! The one with the sun flare is wonderful...because of the sun flare, but also because of the way the flowers 'glow'! And the wall of fountains is amazing...very majestic in this lighting!

Light is everything and the light in these is fantastic! I love the sun coming through in the fourth photo! If you took these in the middle of the day, the light would be harsh and colors washed out.

so beautiful Debbie, I LOVE Longwood Gardens, I used to take classes there many years ago in floral design. Your photos are exquisite. It would be wonderful if you would share them with I Heart Macro this week.
