The Murals of Mount Holly

Do you remember our day trip to Mount Holly for Daffodil Days
back on April 13, 2013?
Just in case you missed those entries,
you can read all the details about that wonderful day here and here.

Mount Holly had some amazing hand painted wall murals throughout the town.
Super cool, colorful, artsy and fun,
here are just a few of the amazing murals we saw.

These butterflies were my favorites!
I have never seen so many murals in one town!
Do you see these often? Which one is your favorite?

The weather here has been beautiful, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

Fantastic! Each time I scrolled down I thought I had a new favorite. Then I had to scroll back up and down and up and down... In order to decide. I love the butterflies near the top, but I think my favorite is the girl in the window. I need to visit this town! Thanks for sharing.

Oh Debbie I am thinking like Karen I kept picking a different one on each scroll down. I have to say The Tree I am sure you know why.
Oh these are beautiful everyone of them I would love to see these your photos made me think I was right there.
Funny I was just looking through my photos in Toronto and admiring the graffitti (street art) and loving it. I am always amazed at the work of any artist and a canvas like a wall is wonderful.Enjoy the sunny weekend but I know you will. Hugs B

I could tell that some were murals but some of the pictures looked like they came out of a book. Such wonderful talent in your town!

The murals are beautiful. Along the miles of flood walls on both sides of the Ohio River are beautiful hand painted murals like that.

Now that is a way to dress up the town. I really like them all,but may be a little partial to the butterfly ones.

What lovely murals! The butterflies are my favorites, too, and the one with the big white house. We have a few murals in our town, and they do so much to add color and artistry to the area. Thanks for sharing!

What fantastic murals. I love murals - what a great way to decorate a town in a unique way. When I did juvenile probation, I had a kid who kept getting in trouble w/ graffiti. I was able to get him in on a town mural project. He did a fantastic job and was so proud of himself :-)

These are cool. I love the Butterflies and that Fall Tree Mural. There is a town here in WA, Toppenish that has murals painted on many of the buildings. They mostly portray scenes from the Indians that were in the area. Also very cool to see.

Oh, these are wonderful!!!! There's a meme you could have connected to called Mondays Murals...I participate sometimes. I think you found quite a treasure trove....is there any way you would let me pin these to my Pinterest Board "Stained Glass, Mosaics, Murals & Art Glass"? I would give you credit for the photos.
