Saturday Critters ~ 136 ~

The hubs and I are in Connecticut and Rhode Island, having the best time ever.

It is much cooler up here and we have had nothing but sunshine.

We stumbled upon this gelato shop in Rhode Island

"Gramma's Gelato Cafe" 

and I decided pictures of this amazing place would be perfect for today's critter post!!

Inside you will enjoy the exciting and beautiful 3-D mural created by Joseph Paul Leighton.
The gentleman working inside was so sweet and so proud of the shop.
15% of all proceeds support the Phelan Foundation for Children.
This is a special man.
Located in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, if you are ever in the area, you must stop in.

We had not eaten dinner and planned on going back after we ate, 
but we ended up eating in back in Connecticut...
our loss I'm sure.

Asbury Park

In keeping with yesterday's Asbury Park theme, 

I thought I would share some of what's been happening up on the boardwalk.

The SeaChange 2016 Wooden Wall Project

Just north of Convention Hall on the Asbury Park boardwalk,

local artists are painting unique and colorful murals on the wooden walls.

It is a continuation of the Parlor Gallery I featured here.


Another landmark building in Asbury Park is



 The Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel 
there is a long history and story about this hotel that Johnny Cash once owned.
