Preparing for "The Storm"...

We don't get "snow" at The Jersey Shore anymore...
we get "Storms", "Blizzards" and Nor'easter's"!

Gone are the days of riding the bus to school in the snow,
hoping you might have an early dismissal.
Schools in my area are closed, already, and not one flake has fallen.
The snow plows are out, driving around in anticipation of "The Blizzard"
According to the weather channel, the snow starts at 5 pm tonight,
and will be gone by noon tomorrow.
We are expected to get 3 - 5 inches and there is not one
roll of toilet paper left in the stores.

Don't get me wrong, I am excited.
There will be enough snow for one snowman,
two snow angels and one snowball fight.

I also prepared for the storm by filling the bird feeders...

and everyone here is keeping an eye on the sky!!

Happy New Year!!

Beginnings can be scary...endings are usually sad...
But it's what's in the middle that counts.

So when you find yourself at the beginning,
just give hope a chance to float up...and trust me, it will!!

2014 crafted with some of my favorite pieces of sea glass.

Happy New Year to all my friends and faithful followers,
let's make this beginning awesome!!
