Delicious Orchard

Saturday morning the hubs took a ride to Delicious Orchard.

This is such an amazing food market, 

everything is made on site, making it super fresh and oh so delicious. 

I am like a kid in a candy store, the hubs and I each have favorite items we like to be sure and get.

Breads

Italy - Pasta Station

Nuts

Potatoes

Apples

Fruit

Prepared Foods

Apple Cider

Fruits and Grapes

And look at all these vegetables...

And if you would like to bring home fresh flowers, there are plenty of choices!

The 115 year old market in Colts Neck, New Jersey is closed this week for a "special event'.

Or that's what we were told.

In actuality, they are using the market to film the not yet titled movie with Kevin Hart. 

The news reported it to be a spy, thriller movie.

Also being filmed in New Jersey right now is "Grown Ups 3". 

Adam Sandler, Salma Hayek and Maria Bello have been spotted in the Keansburg Amusement ParK.

More movies and TV shows could be filmed in this area soon, as Netflix is continuing to convert the 

former Fort Monmouth into a movie studio.

Netflix expects to start filming there by the end of summer of 2027.

Wouldn't You Love To Live Here?

We pass this recently remodeled home often and I think it is just the sweetest home to start a family. 

I love everything about it and it reminds me of the home I recently talked about here.

It does need a rocking chair on that front porch.

 We always pass this next house on our way to Asbury Park.

I see the fence first...

and I always think I will remember to go back and take a picture on the way back.

I finally remembered.

Briar Woods

The hubs stopped the car and I decided to look closer at the yard.

Such a sweet spot, with the perfect name, yep I could live here.

I really like this tiny house with this sweet raised garden.

This is home for me.

It is a beautiful 3,000 square foot home that the hubs built.

I love my home...but it is just so big.

Illumination Night...Tent City, Ocean Grove

August 8th, before my adventures were put on hold, one highlight was our visit to Ocean Grove.

Ocean Grove, is a popular vacation spot in New Jersey known for its Victorian homes,

 boutique shopping, restaurants and beautiful beaches.

Ocean Grove is also home to Tent City, 

a colony of canvas tents attached to wooden cottages that provide all of the comforts of home.

One might wonder why anyone would want to live in a tent for the summer...

Saturday night Tent City came alive with lanterns, lights and a music concert.

I have written about Ocean Groves Tent City before, you can read one of those entries here.

We usually go for a walk here at least once per summer.

The tents are emptied out and closed up in early September.

I believe there is a waiting list of about 15 years in order to rent one of these and they usually stay in families and are passed from one generation to the next.

The people who live here love it!
