Adding Color...

I love Asbury Park, NJ...home to Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band.
Those that live in the area feel like Rock & Roll got a big bump in Asbury Park.

I have a small butterfly tattoo on my right foot.
I got the tattoo when I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis more than 25 year ago.
It is a constant reminder that change can be a good thing...
- just when the caterpillar thought life was over, it turned into a butterfly -

I came here, to have it recolored.

Across the street...this majestic swan was gliding across the lake.

No trip to Asbury Park is complete without a walk along the boardwalk.

And you must take a peek at the ocean, just to make sure it is still there.

Every time you post about Asbury Park, it brings back so many memories- I need to take a ride and re-visit. I'm sure it's nothing like I remember as a child. I love your reasoning with the butterfly tattoo..

I love your butterfly! I always wanted a small one somewhere but never did. Long ago I read that they meant new beginnings, life changes, and personal transformation. When attending a friend’s outdoor wedding ceremony, one landed on her veil. When I told her the symbolism afterwards, she was thrilled. Fun to see the area.
