Down the shore, where Thursday night's are special and everything is alright
The boardwalk rides are colorful and fun.
Not for me...but those who ride seem to really enjoy them.
The boardwalk we visit is
Next stop...
Ice Cream was included on Thursday Nights adventure.
The hubs loves the
- Norma K -
which is named after the popular fishing boat docked right across the street.
Soft Vanilla Ice Cream, Brownie Pieces, Hot Fudge, Whipped Cream, Sprinkles and a Cherry.
They gave us 2 spoons so I had a little taste, I could feel the cavities developing as I ate.
This Ice Cream was huge.
Lastly, the fireworks...
and as always they were outstanding.
We drove past the inlet before heading home...
There were a few commercial fishing boats heading in for the night!

Beautiful night shots, Debbie! It looks like a fantastic time! I also love seeing the fishing boats. Thank you so much for sharing.
Hello, Debbie
Looks like a fun evening, great night photos.
Love the fireworks and the ice cream.
Take care, have a great day!
This looks like a fun spot. The icecream looks delicious. Wow on the fireworks, beautiful.
I'd like to experience the shore on a summer night one of these years!
Looks a fun time, a lovely mix of photographs.
All the best Jan
I've spent many a vacation there when I was a kid. I have a life long friend who lives in Point Pleasant.
Debbie, reminds me of Pontchatrain Beach in New Orleans when I was a kid. Not much for fireworks, but that hot fudge ice-cream looks great!
How fun and fireworks to cap it off.

Looks like a nice evening out. Oh my that sounds so good all the things I love in that ice cream :) I like seeing the boats in the evening with their lights on, here on the Mississippi it's the barges we see going up and down the river.
This looks like loads of fun -- and fab photos too!
I am with you, Debbie, in that I much prefer to see the colorful rides than to actuLly ride on them. Nothing like ice cream at the shore on a summer nightšThose fireworks captures were fantastic!
